It’s never been easier to communicate with people – be it in person, by phone or online. Right now I’m focused on connecting people and getting us all to share what we are grateful for.
Whether I’m having one-on-one conversations or speaking to large groups of people, I am using this month to spread the word about the benefits of having an attitude of gratitude. I’m even telling service providers, shop assistants and I can’t wait to market back to a telemarketer!
In addition to communicating in person, I’m spreading the word throughout the virtual world. Today’s challenge is to join me. Here are five ways you can inspire others and connect online with people on the same path.
Today I’m grateful for how easy it is to make new friends – both in the ‘real’ and the ‘virtual’ world. See you on the world wide web – I’m all over it!
We get bogged down by so much ‘stuff’ in our lives. Many of us take baggage with us everywhere – some physical, some metaphorical. I’ve been weighed down heavily in my past.
In recent times, I’ve definitely lightened my load.
While it may not be possible to rid yourself of everything you’ve dragged around, start now to resolve some of the small nagging issues in your life. What starts as an itch can easily become a scratch if you leave it.
Learning from the wisdom of others is a great way to keep motivated.
I’m kinda old fashioned in that I love flicking through the pages of a book, reading positive affirmations and quotes from some great minds of inspirational folk.
From the musty pages of history flows positive prose that sits as well in modern times as it did way back when.
Whatever your preference, it’s never been easier to find quotes – a quick web search will reveal thousands of thoughts to keep your mind motivated. Even
spending a few minutes searching should put you in a positive frame of mind.
Love. Passion. Compassion. Determination. Gratitude. These are just five of the words that inspire me to continue my journey every day.
Friends describe me as an eternal optimist and someone who takes professional and personal risks that other people don’t always have the courage to take. What seems out of the ordinary for some people is my norm and what is normal for others, sometimes scares me.
I believe so strongly that it’s possible for every single person to make a positive difference to our world and its inhabitants that I have dedicated my life to showing people by example. To do this, I’ve had to be creative and innovative. My ‘words’ have helped create my own personal guidebook.
Switching off can actually help you be switched on! Today’s challenge is to take a break from hearing, seeing and reading bad news.
Could you stop tuning into the news for a day? A week? A month?
What are you saying to yourself right now as you read this? Do you feel anxious or relieved? Are you concerned you will be ‘missing out’ on what’s going on in the world?
