I’m grateful to have learned the ability to turn negative feelings or thoughts into positive ones. I see happy married couples. I don’t feel lonely, I feel happy for them and grateful for my freedom. I see mothers with children and I know there is a reason I don’t have kids but feel immense gratitude towards my mother.

I am grateful first and foremost for my beautiful son and daughter, and a wonderful, supportive husband, for my family and friends who are always there and support me. That my children can also grow with such a support network is so reassuring. I am grateful for a business I enjoy and the opportunities it gives me and my family in life.
I am very grateful for being a survivor of the ‘Black Saturday’ bushfires, along with my son when our house and property burnt down around us. I am very grateful for the wonderful, warm and caring people that I met in the many months after this catastrophe.
I am grateful that the right people always appear in my life at the right time, that I have found and followed my passion in life for making a difference and that I have a wonderful partner who supports me in what I do (no matter how ambitious my dreams).
I am most grateful for my friends and family who I know I can count on for anything. I am also always grateful that somehow my wife, who comes from across the world, found me and is the center of my life.
